"Welcome to POWER CAMP!"

Power Camp is more than just a day camp, it's a place where your Camper can come be themselves, explore, learn and grow. Take a look at what a Power Camp day looks like and what your Camper can expect!

Following drop off each morning between 8:15 and 8:30 am, your Camper will be greeted and directed to the PC Check-In table. On Monday, they will go to the appropriate grade level's table where they will be assigned to a Power Camp Team. They will receive a coordinating wristband with their team's color. For example if a Camper is a rising 1st grader they may be placed on the Lime Team and they would receive a lime color wristband. From there, your Camper will be directed to their team's classroom which serves as a home-base throughout the week for all personal items, water bottles and their lunchbox. Each morning your Camper will check-in and go to their team classroom to walk together to the morning meeting!

At 8:45 am Power Camp Team's will leave their lunch and belongings in their classroom and head to the gym for the morning session for a large group morning meeting that includes a skit, songs and a talk! This is a special time where Campers learn about the theme of the day and are challenged to rise higher as a person who can choose daily who they want to be in the world...

After the Morning Meeting, Campers shift into the morning activity blocks. If your Camper is signed up for a specialty camp, their name will be called and they will join that specialty group. For example, if your child signed up for PC Dance, all dancer's names will be called and they will head to the dance room for the morning. If your Camper is not in a specialty, they begin the morning folding right into the PC adventure full of activities. Each age group will get to choose between several different activities, experiencing at least three different activity blocks each morning. For example, in the first activity block we may offer art or dodgeball for rising 1st and 2nd graders. They may choose either one. Following art or dodgeball they will receive two more activity options. Each day we rotate through different activity choices to ensure your Camper experiences an array of opportunities!

Every day at Noon Campers will be lead back to their team classroom for lunch time. We encourage all of our campers to pack a healthy lunch and to drink plenty of water. Lunches are also provided to each camper at Power Camp (weekly menus are emailed out). Any Campers with allergy or specific dietary needs must include that information in their application. During the last part of lunch, Team Coaches lead Campers in a devotional time. It's a special time of learning more about the Lord and what His word says about who we are.

After lunch our PC Teams are all united from a fun filled morning and they stick together for the rest of the afternoon. Teams rotate through four afternoon activity blocks together. The afternoon is typically the time for larger team games that include dodgeball, basketball, soccer and more.

All Campers will be in the gym for afternoon pick up. Parents must coordinate with the PC office if anyone other than you is picking up your child from Camp. Pick up is at 4:00 pm, if you pick up your child after 4:15 pm they will be added to our aftercare program.
